Bronson L. Peshlakai is a journalist who is back in school learning Web Design and Development at Central New Mexico Community College. Peshlakai worked as a public affairs reporter for the Capital Journal in Pierre, S.D. He covered the South Dakota State Legislature three consecutive years in a row. His beats also was executive branch of state government, as well as city and state government.
Peshlakai also was a public information officer for the Hon. Lawrence T. Morgan, Speaker of the Navajo Nation. In addition to writing press releases and disseminating information to local and national media outlets, Peshlakai updated the 21st Navajo Nation Council’s Web site.
Work and play brought Peshlakai to the New York City area in 2006. He worked as an intern for the story development team of 48 Hours Mystery, a CBS News production. He also works freelance public relations for the Institute of Rational Urban Mobility, a Manhattan-based not-for-profit organization.
Bronson was also a managing editor of the Lansing Community College’s The Lookout Newspaper. Prior to becoming a print writer and journalist, Peshlakai was a newscast director, technical director, studio camera operator, audio technician and floor director for KOB-TV Albuquerque, WTOL Toledo, WLNS Lansing, WWTV Cadillac, WGTU Traverse City, WOOD Grand Rapids and WXMI Fox 17 Grand Rapids.
